Sadly, these days neither of them tend to speak out against corruption and wrong like they used to - only interested in protecting their position, not doing what’s right, for the most part - most of the time it’s ‘protect those that are doing wrong because they have a D or are by their name’ - heck with ‘representing the people’ - the times in which we live.

Well I am very pleased that so many of the young men and women on this site are actually becoming involved in politics and thinking deeper than “I like Obama because he’s for Change” and I don’t like McCain because he’s old”. I’ve seen both posted here. Congratulations to those who are starting to think about politics. But do your research before you post. Look into who voted for whom and what percentages there are on both sides. Whatever you’re curious about research it.

And all too often Dems just want a Dem in office. I don’t mind if he/she isn’t going to hurt America.

Senator Obama has proposed 1 trillion dollars in new spending plans. 1 Trillion dollars. There is 100 million dollars in a billion. There is 100 billion dollars in 1 Trillion. That’s a lot of tax payers dollars, that cannot be spent without raising 1 Trillion dollars. That money is not going to come from the top 5% as Obama’s plan states. And the majority of the top 5% are small business owners who provide a tremendous amount of jobs.

There, is that enough voicing from a centrist Repbulican, livelaughlove123?

Senator Obama’s plan is first smoke and mirrors. And if he could pull all that money in from the top 5% he would cripple the economy even further. No your taxes are going up if he intends to implement these plans.

And folks don’t think he’ll get the money by ending the “war”. Whomever becomes President, cannot and will not immediately withdraw the troops. And I’ve seen someone’s post that Senator Obama cannot make an informed decision until he gets into office. Both teams have received National Security briefings just like President Bush since they were chosen as their party’s hopefuls. The best Obama can say is “reasonable withdrawal” that’s a wise political statement.

There, is that enough
