What's a quick/easy way to keep up on world events?

What’s the quickest way to keep up with current events? I’m so busy, but others expect me to know about world news! Is there a cheat sheet sheet web site or something similar? I know this sounds stupid and shallow, but I don’t have time to read all about international conflicts and form an opinion.. it would be great to read a few lines of other people’s opinions and choose one I agree with!

Yup. Don’t be lazy. Read the new york times online, The Washington Post and other national newspapers. A great way to keep up is to listen to your local NPR news station. That way you can be working and listening at the same time.

So next time your friends talk about why the Russians will not extradite the suspect in the radiation poisoning case, you will know immediately who the victim was and what happened after the british expelled 5 diplomats from the russian embassy in London. And you won’t look like a total dolt.

Generally, you can go to Yahoo.com or aol.com and they have the headline news right there.
