Can you put your prescription glasses lenses in the fake glasses you can get at Hot Topic/Claire's/ect?
Theoretically, I suppose it’s possible in some cases, but certainly not something I would ever attempt, considering my glasses costed me almost five-hundred dollars, and the last thing I would want to do is botch up shoving them inside some cheap five dollar lenses. A better idea would be to start wearing contacts on the occasions that you want to wear the Hot Topic glasses, I’m sure you’d be able to get them if you inquired about it.
I can’t have contacts because of medication I’m on currently.
actually it would be far easier to just take those frames to a lens crafters and have them make a set of lenses to fit.
it would cost the price of the lenses and would save messing up the pair you already have.
Labs should be able to make and put prescription lenses in these frames but do you really want to? After buying expensive lenses chances are the frames won’t last long then you will have wasted money on the lenses. It’s a better bet to find a pair of real frames in the style you want and have glasses made with them.

I dont think so. My optomitrist told me they cant replace the lenses in the reading glasses you can buy in stores, so I wouldnt think they could do it with fake glasses
