its an okay feeling to feel like that. only through practice you could reduce fear.

I am studying communications so every week I need to go up and present different topics.

the first thing that you should do is not worry what people are going to think of you as and understand that the people who are listening to you are going to have to do the same thing so they may be just as anxious too.

know that you are just introducing and demonstrating your own self. not something big. just you. thats it. so just imagine that you are showing and presenting something to your best friends and family.

you have nothing to worry about. but before you go and present, please practice. this will help reduce the UHH’s and UMM”s in your voice.

also, eat a good breakfast and (carbs) they help you retain your memory and slow down your thinking structure to focus more on what you are doing. (vitamin C) works too.

when you are up there, just remember that you need to loosen up a bit. relax. start out with a joke or something to get the people hooked. start out with something of medium importance, then small importance, then something of big importance to conclude.

and this always happens: before you know it, you are almost done. and 5-10 mins doesnt seem so long as before.

good luck, I know you’ll have it tomorrow.

Everybody feels the same way. There’s no need to be nervous because everybody is paying more attention to their own screw ups than yours. They pay more attention to what they say instead of you. So just be yourself(:

Answer #3

I used to be like that too.

But just think of it this way. If you’re nervous. Your performance will be thrown off and people will laugh. If you’re confident, you’ll do great and no one will have anything bad to say.
