How can a public school deny a student from going there?

can a PUBLIC school not accept a student there when they belong to that district?

Answer #1

Did this particular student do something wrong? Like, gotten X amount of suspensions, oh and suspensions differ in value. But that doesn’t mean they’re still not bad to have.

Answer #2

Are you sure its in the district…they change school districts almost yearly in most places so its possible that your out of it now. Other than that the only reasons i know of why a public school can deny a child is no proof of address (such as electric and water bill with the parents name), out of the district, behavioral problems.

Answer #3

Yes. They have the right to expel you & not let you come back.

Answer #4

Yea it’s still in that school district and this has happened to more than one person already and they just said they had to go on a waiting list when the school’s limit of students isn’t even reached yet.

Answer #5

One of them has but not another one

Answer #6
