Do you think a psychologist would have a job in say 10-15 years?

It depends on what they’re studying. It could take about four years for a full time student in university. To get their masters, they’d need about 3 years and another two for a PhD. Depending on the degree they want to do, it will differ. Different types of psychologists have different years. In 10 years, some will have just finished their studying. I’m sure in the next 5 years they’d definitely have a stable job.

yes because there wiill always be people with mental problems who need help or need someone to help explain whats wrong to them

Sorry I misunderstood the question. Yes a psychologist would still have their job. Humans are expanding and common sense isn’t so common these days. More people are going to be needing psychologists!

Yes but its not that people are more “effed up”. We are the same. Psychologists are just finding new ways to categorise our actions as mental. We are also learning more about our brains and how it works. They are evolving into new ways of treating problems that were not considered problems before. Like depression. Many people suffer from depression but since Prozac there has been a drastic increase in depression and also a drastic increase in the need for psychologists.

Yes I do think so, people are always going to need help, someone to talk to, or just need someone to help you work things out with you and stuff like that.
