it plays blu ray but to watch 3d you need them special glasses. + you need a compatible telly to get the full blu ray experience
Ah ok makes sense.
All PS3s are supposed to be updated with the firmware to be able to play 3D compatible games and movies. I have seen demos already offered at the Playstation store. You would need a capable television… I’ve heard that some LCD’s with a 120 hz refresh rate may be able to be upgraded with its own firmware to make it capable… and you would also need the brand specific active shutter type of glasses in addition to view the blu-ray
