Proud flesh in dogs

Hey, does any here no any good treatments 4 proud flesh?? My dog was kicked in the face by my horse, next to his eye, and it’s just a graze, but it’s starting to look like proud flesh. Any help??

There is also “Wonder Dust” but I would have this checked out by a Vet to make sure there is not fractures, as suggested above.

I think that proud flesh needs to be attended to by a Vet…the overgrowth can be controlled with steroids, anti-imflamitories, and antibiotics…

you can use icthamol, it is a black tar ointment. you can get at a pet or farm store.

Have you taken your dog to the vet? The bones around the eye can shatter quite easily. X-rays might be in order.

I do not think dogs can get proud flesh. Please consult a vet.
