What are the pros and cons of getting your hair layered?

PROS: Looks good, its unique, gives teh hair volume, you can style it differently. its easy, and its to maintain. It also makes it easier to comb. CONS: You cant go back, its harder to tie up, it can look really frizzy, can look awful and can lead to bad split and dead ends.

I’ve recently just done it myself and it has given me a bit more confidence, it looks nicer and adds more volume. For the cons, I would say doing styles like braids, some bits of hair will stick out but hair grows back.

your hair won’t stay straight (if straightened) because of the heaviness of the hair above it it looks weird if your hair is two toned while down

From what I experienced with my layered hair, it’s much more difficult to get all your strands of your hair if you’re trying to tie your hair in a pony tail or bun. It can get a little wild, and end up making you look like a shaggy dog when your hair is wet. Other than that, it looks good straight, feels lighter.
