Generally, if the next word begins with a consonant, it’s “thuh.” The dress.

However…

If it begins with a vowel, it’s like “thee.” The egg.

thee sounds more formal and grown up thuh sounds more informal and slangish.basically when you want to sound grown up and smart you say thee when your with your friends and dont care say thuh.but really what ever your use to and confortable with
