Problematic Priate day.

It’s Hastings Priate day on Friday. WOOO! Only problem is… I don’t know how to look like a priate… I don’t have any spare money to buy a costume… So any make shift ideas? :D

I think the lack of money might actually help the creation of a pirate outfit, not hurt it. Pirates were rugged bands of desperate, penniless hoodlums who spent weeks on board leaky, disease-ridden ships, and when they weren’t having their limbs gouged with rusty weapons, they were busy dying of starvation and scurvy. The idea that anyone would be wearing a shiny pair of striped pants and a smart vest is silly.

…could easily be fashioned at home. Plain t-shirt with jagged edges cut into the hems + shorts or skirt with ragged edge cut into the hems + do-rag (preferably with skull and crossbones + wide belt = pirate costume. Add some leather sandals and a homemade eyepatch and you’re golden. Add lots of eye makeup and hair beads for that dashing Jack Sparrow look.

Feathers in hair , a scraggy bandana , gold hoop earings, eyepatch , waistcoats , flouncy shirts , 3/4 lenth pants with ripped material as belts , hook hand , woden leg , old boots , blacken some of your teeth , a parrott

ok if you have any hat find a feather and put in there then walk with a limp if you want and say you lost in a very bad pirate battle also you should find a toy sword or knife then from a guy you know ask to barrow a white buttin up shirt wear black pants and call everyone scallywag and say arg and your a pirate ps if you have like black shoes perfurbaly like boots or somthin that would help the outfit.
