What would be a good price for a baby shower cake for about 30-40 people, and the place to get it?
It depends on how you want it done.
If you want a sheet cake (flat rectangle shaped cake) to feed that many people you would need to do a half sheet. With simple decorations and no fondant a larger bakery would charge around $30-40.
I am a Cake Decorater for Albertsons and even if I didn’t work there i would recommend their cakes. They are cheaper than wal-mart and winn-dixie and are better quality and decorated better.
A half sheet simple baby shower cake at Albertsons is $26.99. If you wanted a more detailed design, toy, or fondant its $32.99.
