Think about where in the house you are going to keep the cage, they are very sensitive to drafts. Make sure you get a cover for the cage, and always change there water

first thing is make sure you have a cage and food and water. :)
Also when the parakeet arrives give it a day or two to get used to it’s surroundings before you start handling it..else you’ll just stress the bird out.
