Pregnant with lower stomach pain

I am pregnant and about once every hour I get really bad lower stomach pain. Its like the pain you get when you need to go to the toilet, but it really is painfull and last about 10 mins and then just goes. I would like to know if anybody knows why this is and if anybody has had this before from pregnancy.

Well abdominal pain is common in pregnancy but it can be a sign of a problem. It’s possible that it’s an ectopic pregnancy which is where the embyro gets stuck in the fillopian tube and starts to grow there. The warning signs are very low abdominal pains, bleeding or brown discharge and sometimes feeling faint. Factors that make this more likely are things like infection that cause blockage in the tubes. Symptoms usually start 6-8weeks after fertilisation but can start as early as 4 weeks. If this sounds like you then please please seek medical advice! If left untreated it can rupture and be life threatening. I’ve left a link with information about ectopic pregnancies and other problems it may be at the bottom.
