In all reality you “CAN” get pregnant any time durring your cycle. The reason for this is because not everyone has regularities. In a perfect world, us women ovulate 14 days after the first day of our period. If you need help figuring that out, look up an ovulation calendar. You can get pregnant a week before ovulation more likely than a few days after. Reason being the egg is released durring ovulation, the days before hand with unprotected intercourse, the sperm will continue to live in your body for around 3-7 days, depending on the PH and acidity of your lady parts, every woman is different. So if it lives for a week in your body, within that week if an egg is released you have a chance of concieving. 2-7 days before your period is a very small window. A period actually rids of the unfertilzed egg. So there is a possiblity, however with it being so soon before your period and after ovulation, the chance is small.

Didn’t even bother reading everything because I’ve heard it all before. YOU CAN GET PREGNANT AT ANY TIME DURING YOUR CYCLE. Do not rely on what time of the month it is for contraception.
