Why is my dog leaking green fluid during her pregnancy?
My chi (5 lbs) is 48days into her gestation. She is leaking dk. green fluid from her vagina, meconium. She doesn’t appear to be in distress and her temp is normal. Will she go ahead and deliver? I realized this isn’t a good sign and probably result in stillborns, any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
This is not good. If you are sure of the date. I would take here to the Vet and since it is Sunday I would even suggest the Emergency Vet. Pups can not be born and live before 58 days.
Yes dark green fluid is an infection.
did she hit her belly on anything. one of he embriotic sacs may have broken due to some kind of trauma
