No, I would not. Those days were definitely hard for normal folks. People were uneducated, medicine was primitive, lifespan was low, child mortality was high, life was uncomfortale and people had to do a lot of hard physical work…. and so on.

Try living in a reenactment camp for a week and you’ll get a vague idea about it.

No! With all the technology we have now, back then things would take would a week to do, to today it takes a day with a lot of household things and getting around with how much we do in our days as working people e are so busy with errands and such. Also we shelter we have houses, apartments ect… way better then living in huts or whatever part of the world you are from. Esp for medical attention people would die everyday since there weren’t many cures for anything back then. Tough times I could only imagine!

I’ve lived in a reenactment camp for a bit. It’s really refreshing, when it ended I almost didn’t want to comeback to normal life. Mind you it was no where near as difficult of a lifestyle as it would have been 1000 years ago. Your biggest concern was getting sunburnt. I don’t know, I’m kind of torn by it, I like the idea of a simpler lifestyle, but all of the things you mentioned are completely valid points, and I would say most all modern people are too adjusted to them to be able to live such a different lifestyle.

nope, i think 100 years ago was bad. i mean slaves, wars, no hospital, ect. I’m glad i live in todays lifestyle!

yes. situation was very much better as compared to now.
