Power out to computer.

Alright, well there was one day where the computer was on. No one was using it, we have to leave it on during the day otherwise it won’t start. Not sure why, but if you have solutions to that problem I’ll take those too. Anyways, the computer was on, and then the power went out. I turned it on, and had the option of running it in safe mode. So I put it in safe mode and it seemed to at least turn on. Then I shut it down so I could start it regular to check my email. It seems to have run fine, but the taskbar looks like an old one, the internet browser is screwy but it still works, there are just things displayed that are missing.

The computer did get 2 viruses in it the day before, but the antivirus software fought them both off. So anyone have an idea as to whats wrong? Playing around in the control panel and properties to the taskbar have yeilded no results.

Answer #1

No no its Vista. Its not that old.

Answer #2

the problem is the computer is out dated. this is common in older computers! my advice is to get a new one such as an hp, or dell they give you a lot to trot. so to speak for a reasonable price. if its not in your budget sen the pc to geek squad and tell um to clean it out and speed it up, and they will do that. but many times once a computer gets that way it isn’t reversible!
