How do you post a URL on here to help improve an answer?

You simply go to the page you want to give a link to, copy the URL…and paste in an answer.

However, it is required that you are an esteemed member of the FunAdvice community before you can post a link. This is to prevent spammers and solicitors. After you have earned 100 points, you will have earned all of your FunAdvice privileges. - http://www.funadvice.com/doc/faq

No problem. The best way to get points, so that you can earn your privileges… is to give good answers and advice, just be as helpful as you can be. Also, writing How To’s and Tips will get you points if people like them. :]

I have been answering questions to the best of my ability for awhile now, but I can’t think of a good idea of a how to.

Well, just keep it up. It takes a bit of time to get fully used to this site, but once you do…it will seem a lot easier. :] Check out some of the How To’s that other people have written, just to see how it’s done. Then, just think of something you know how to do, that you would like to teach others to do. It can be as simple as “How To Make a Tye Dye Shirt”… I’m sure you’ll think of something. :]
