How do you put english on the cue ball
If you hit the cue ball near the bottom, and from a straight angle on the ball then it will curl back towards the cue after it's struck the ball you were aiming for.
However, if you hit the ball from a downward angle, then it may jump instead of curling back towards you which isn't what you want.
