Politicians Using the government money!
In britain right now there is protests about our politicians having perks basically these perks include being able to claim money from the government for Food, Mortgages, Cleaing, Taxis, Childcare and so forth.
Personally I really do not think this is right, Why should politicans get so much money from the government just because they are politicians. There are people in this country severley struggeling to put a roof over there familys heads and here are the governement officals claiming mortgage rates for TWO houses.
What are other peoples opinions of this??
What about the European Parliament then?
Reports say that the way finances are used is so corrupt that auditors have flatly refused to sign off the accounts for over 12 years in a row now!
What I cant understand is why, if this is the case, it is not sorted out?
These people are abusing our money!!!
I think that politicians get more money than they say they do. they should not be allowed to claim money at all! they get so much and shouldnt get everything for free. they have huge estates, and have horrible behavior they set a bad example for the rest of the country and are very hypocritical(sp?) I believe more money should be given to lower income families who work very hard for money and still don’t make enough like government support, because welfare isn’t enough also, many people abuse welfare and unemployment, because they’re lazy those people should get their support taken away and give it to the ones who are actually contributing to society
