How can I politely ask for the money I earned?

I just spent 2 hours gardening, and was told I had earned £10. They said it was 10 and only gave me 5. However they are my Grandparents and I don’t want to be rude. Please help me D:

I suppose it depends on the case. In general, though, you could call the person who owes it to you and say something like..

“Hi. I was just wondering if I could pick up my pay sometime today or tomorrow? It’s been a little while since I’ve done the work, and I really need the money right now.”

Then go from there.

It’s hard asking for money from someone you care about, but I think they just legitimately didn’t realize that only gave you 5. Just explain to your grandmother that you hate to bother her with this, but she only gave you 5 rather than the 10 that was promised. You’re going to have to learn to be assertive if you want anything in life.
