Police for the police?

If you are in England and you know how to talk you can arrest the police officers if you so wish to. Remember, a fine is just a bribe. You can also use terrorist laws against them, so keep them locked up for a week without charge :)

Cops do have cops watching them. They are called Internal Affairs. And, you, as a citizen, can report wrong-doings on the part of police. Just remember that cops are sometimes in pursuit of a larger wrong.

Most police I know of let trivial things slide unless you are being dangerous or obnoxious with the violations. Unless someone has antagonized a cop, they are just trying to keep everyone safe. And often if there is something small (like an unsignalled lane change) and they stop you, if you are respectful of them and don’t give them attitude, they will only give you a warning and a reminder that the violation could be potentially dangerous. A policeman has a number of options available from warnings to tickets to taking you into the station. I’ve known an occurrence where a speeding ticket (42 in a 25 zone) was reduced to “failure to observe traffic sign” because of contriteness (a savings of hundreds of dollars and points on their licence.)

Well I disagree with that. I’ve been pulled over and been nice and very respectful being nice wont get you out of a ticket. They have a quota to fill and out chasing innocent people cause of a minor traffic incident. When they need to be out catching real crime like murders and rapistest, drug dealin and all that. At least thats how I feel.
