How can I catch a shiny pokemon in ruby version plsss… Reply…

I don’t know much about it, but I was ecstatic when I found a green Marill. When it evolved into Azumarill it became yellow, which I thought was brilliant. But then all was lost when my nephew erased the whole game. I’ve noticed that they’re selling special games on ebay. It’s basically still Pokemon ruby, sapphire or emerald, only it has loads of Pokemon level 100 (including shiny Pokemon), loads of items like rare candy, plus more. I think it had just about every Pokemon in the Pokedex, but I’m not positive. I haven’t actually played any of these games, but they sound pretty amazing. Hope this helps.

It’s randomly generated. You have a one in 43000 something chance for it to be shiny, if I remember right. Might be a bigger or smaller number… So it’s all about luck. I only managed to run into one or two, heh. By the way, I’ve heard that it also depends on your trainers ID, it affects the way the numbers are generated.
