Found from a gaming site:
“go to the fossil maniac’s place in Fallabor Town and talk to the little person infront of the entrance to the cave thingo where the fossil maniac is. once you defeat the elite 4 there is a cave at the end of the cave the the fossil maniac is in called the “desert underpass”. you can find Ditto there and the other fossil that you havn’t picked up from the desert.
go to fossil mainiacs house. there will be a person in front of the entrance to where fossil mainiac is. talk to them and they will give you dig “
