What's the point of Eminem and Rhiana's song "love the way you lie"?

It’s about two people who meet and fall in love, however, as time goes on, they start to resent each other and the man becomes physically abusive. The woman takes it at first, but then she tries to leave him. He promises her that he’ll never hurt her again and he’ll try to control his temper, but he’s lying. He says that if she ever tried to leave again, he’d kill her. The woman knows that this is all just a lie, but she keeps going back to him because she loves him.

Isn’t that song meant for Chr!s Br0wn? I wasn’t aware of their story but i think there was a popular news about that guy’s physical abuse on rhiana.

im not sure but i dont think so, ever since the chris brown thing everyone thinks every song she sings has to do with him. But i think that might have been eminems song, like he “owns” it and he invited her to sing it, i dont think it was written with her in mind. could be wrong though.
