Can someone please, in your opinion, give an analysis on the poem, “the butterfly upon the sky,” by: emily dickinson ? How does the poems form add meaning/feeling or does it? Give examples… :) How does the poems sound add meaning/feeling? Give examples… :) What is the subject & the tone of the poem? What do you think the theme is of the poem? Where is figurative language used in the poem? Thank you all and below is a copy of the poem. :)

The butterfly upon the sky That doesn’t know its name And hasn’t any tax to pay And hasn’t any home` Is just as high, as you and I And higher, I believe So soar away and never sigh And that’s the way to grieve –
