What are my chances of being pregnant?

I had unprotected sex the day after my period stopped. That was 10 days ago and I have this aching pain in my pubic area similar but not as severe as period pains, slight and erratic nausea (mainly at bedtime etc. Usually I associate these feelings with PMS but I’ve still got 2 / 3 weeks to go and I never get it this early. i took a pat home pregnancy test and it came back negative. what do you think?

Hi,

Pregnancy tests aren’t considered to be accurate until you have actually missed a period. If you still have a few weeks to go until you should get your period, you’re taking the test too early. Anytime you have unprotected sex, even if it is during or after your period, you can get pregnant–I suggest you wait until your period time comes. If it comes, great–use protection from now on. If it doesn’t take the test and go from there.
