Are they able to see what I look up on the internet?
I haven got the internet but im hacking it from one of my neighbours. My neighbour who is my families best frnds knows about it and she thinks its her ionternet that im hacking but she said she doesn mind at all. (she is very very generous). so heres my question, are they able to see what ii look up on the internet?PLease help.
Anytime you use an unsecured wireless network everybody in range can possibly even see files on your computers and with easily downloadable free software can track the sites you visit and even capture some account names and passwords. The range of a WiFi can be up to 100 meters. If you live in an apartment building this could give a lot of people access.
Not only could your neighbor see what your doing online, they could get into your computer if they wanted to. And Vice Versa.
In some jurisdictions using an unsecured wireless connection is considered theft and you can face fines and/or be sued.

You’re not ‘hacking’ their internet…you’re stealing it. If you get caught, you’ll face charges.
…but to answer your question - no, they can’t see what you’re doing.
