Where are some of the best places to apply for a receptionist job?

Im looking for one mainly in Memphis TN, but other than that just to name a few places.

a) Put your resume up on Monster and Careerbuilder. If it’s good enough, companies will call you.

b) Stalk kijiji.com and craigslist for openings in the area you want.

All offices need receptionists. If you have the skills and are an accurate and fast typist (put WPM on your resume), you should get a job no problem.

The best way to get a job is networking. People hire those they know and those who come recommended from those they know more than anyone else. So start telling people you’re looking for a job. Start calling up places and ask if they have positions. Something like 70% of all jobs are never posted (the number could be higher, I forget). You’re 18, so you just got out of school? Call up your old high school and ask them. Talk to teachers and counselors you got along with, ask them if they know of everything or could ask around for you.
