Can I take pills to clean my system?

I think I may be backed up with poo but I’m not completely sure. I drop maybe at most 2 sometimes 3 poos. It’s usually one at most times. I’m 15 and I was wondering if my age – could I take colon cleansing pills or do I need to get a colon cleanse at a hospital or wherever they do them

Answer #1

Change your diet if you got a problem…pills aint the answer when your so young.

Answer #2

Add more fiber to your diet, pills are only short term usually. You can also try just adding Benefiber to whatever you eat now.

Answer #3

High fibre breads will generally help… You can take fibre supplements, but it would be much better to eat breads, fruits and vegetables because this way you can ensure you are getting numerous other essential micronutrients at the same time. When you say you’re doing number 2’s ‘once’, do you mean once per day? If so, this is pretty normal, and you said that you tend to do it twice which would be perfect.

Answer #4

drink more water on a regular basis. It will wash your system

Eat onion. Because it contains low poly fructose. In addition still can eat some white turnip. Also can buy oligo-isomaltose and low poly fructose, these are bifidogenic factors, can increase the beneficial bacterium intestinal bifidobacteria breeding, inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, and promote calcium magnesium and nutrient absorption, adjust the intestinal ph environment.

Answer #6

go to walgreens or a pharmacy you have. Find magnesium citrate. It will be in a liquid form, so you can drink it. And it actually taste good. You have to down the bottle in like 10 min. Then you will for sure have to use the bathroom for a couple hours. But do it during the weekend and morning. Cause im sure you dont want to wake up suddenly at 3:00 am to poo. & another choice is benefiber. It comes in a powder form and you put it in your drink, like water. Or your food. Good luck

Answer #7

You should be taking some laxatives, like miralax or any constipation medication. A colon cleanse is not common for people who are “backed-up”. So that’s out of the question. They will only tell you to take laxatives. The only time they usually do cleansing is when you have some type of intestinal/colon surgery or procedure. It can actually be dangerous to cleanse it completely unless for surgical reasons. You should see a doctor, though. I used to have the same problem.

Answer #8
