want to get snakebite Piercings, how to persuede my parents?

Well it depends on where you live, but here where I live (in ontario) you can go and get a peircing done without a parents signature when you’re 16…

So I’m going to go get my eyebrow peirced in a month when I’m 16, and then my parents cant rally stop me, if I pay for it myself.

So basically what I’m saying is wait until you’re allowed to get it done without a preants signature, or convince them doing other things, like I said before like doing more jobs around the house, shovelling the snow, making dinner, mowing the lawn, taking out the trash…etc etc. And also figure out like 5 or 10 positives about it, so if your parentss say all the negative crap, you can go and win the argument with all you’re awesome positives about it =]

I’m sure if you do all sorts of stuff like that you’ll prove to her that you can get snake bites.

There’s a bit of a problem I’ve been noticing among teens…this whole “it’s my body” business. Until you’re 18…no it isn’t. You DO NOT have the right to wear what you want, get tattoos or piercings, or go where you choose.

Telling your parents “it’s my body so just let me” is incorrect, and incredibly immature.

im 17, and I have 10 peircings. and I have tattoos.

tell her that its just a peircing, and you can take it out if you dont like it, its not like youre asking for a tattoo. lol. I dont know your mom, but thats what my friend did when she wanted her bellybutton peirced.

my mom doesnt care what I do so I dont have that problem, but if I were you, I would just go do it, theres nothing she can do once its there.

but dont do that if your mom is one of those moms that like goes crazy and punishes you for crap..

Bribe her with good grades.

Get all As on your report card.

1. be extra nice
2. convince her it’ll look steller
3. and gently remind her it’s your body x (my friend got them they’re lush)

Yes if you are under the age of 16 then you will need consent by signature. You can try all the above and if it doesn’t work then just wait. You only have a year until you can go and get them yourself.
