No, a picture is different than a reflection. If you take a picture of a stuffed animal you are seeing the stuffed animal exactly as you see it with your own eyes.

what the heck? think about it: if I take a picture of myself or something and then look at it, my right hand in the picture will be where my left hand really is. this is gettin on my nerves.

the basic principle is that a camera works as if you are looking at something with your eyes while a mirror just reflects light

reflecting and capturing are 2 different things…

Take a picture of yourself, you will be oriented correctly in the photo.

Look a yourself in the mirror, you will be reversed.

Take a picture of yourself in the mirror, you will be reversed.

So… you weren’t explaining it correctly? Because the answer to your original question is still ‘no’

When I hold my right hand up facing you, and you hold up your left, we can touch our two palms together with fingers matching up and our hands will be parallel to each other. If we both hold up our right hands, our hands will be on opposite sides of our bodies and if we place them together, the fingers will not match up.

If I turn my back on you and we both raise our right hands, then our hands will be parallel.

Why is that?

Because when I raise my right hand, it’s still my right hand even though I’m facing you. A picture works the same way. Hold the picture beside yourself, facing out just like you are and raise your left hand - the hand in the picture will match.

It’s not a mirror image, or everything would be backwards -logos, text, etc.

This is not a difficult concept.
