Picture unperfect!!

My tv will come on and then goes blank but, the sound is still on and you have to hit the tv in order for the picture to come back on and stay on…WHY?

its time to call your t.v company

It could be that when the TV first comes on it causes a connection to separate as the TV warms up. Hitting the TV then causes the connection to vibrate and reconnect. Its probably on its last legs, and if its an older model that isn’t digital ready, spring for a new model.
