Do you think photograhy should be just a hobby?

its should be a job but the people hireing them shouldnt be stupid and pick people who cant take good pictures but i agree with devin on that some people will like it and some people wont everyone is different

At one point you’re going to have to start paying off your camera gear.

I know quite a few professional photographers and I myself do shoots here and there for some money.

Senior photos is a great way to get started. There is an amount of stress involved with photography, technology makes it SO easy for ONE bad review ruin your career.

Right now, I just tag along to weddings and work with other local professional photographers to learn how it works. It’s an amazing experience.

Build a great portfolio and that will help you get some jobs.

I think doing what you love or have a passion for is great. And if your ability to do it, is such that you can earn money and make a profession out of it…well The best jobs in the world is being able to do what you love and get paid for it.
