Persuasive Essay?

I have to do a persuasive essay for my AM Lit/ Comp class and I’m trying to choose my topic. We have a list of topics that we can do but I’ve found 2 that I wanna do but I’m having a hard time choosing which one to do. My 2 topics are Roe V. Wade or Jackie Robinson. For both of them you have to persuade people how they had a great impact on American culture.

So my question is what one would you choose? Which one do you think would be easier to research and easier to sersuade people of?

Pick the subject you feel most passionate about. Do a little research on both. Look up any American pop culture references to Roe vs. Wade and Jackie Robinson. Remember, you’ve got to find EVIDENCE of the impact whichever subject has had on American culture. Supportive evidence, which can be found in articles of high-profile newspapers, references to either subject in politics, advertisements, etc., will help make your argument more persuasive. It will be very easy to find evidence of American cultural change for either subject. Simply decide which subject, and the evidence you compile for either, is most interesting and compelling to you. Don’t forget to stay focused on American cultural change. How did the event/person change how Americans interact with family and friends, relationships, their perceptions of stereotypes, religion, etc. Don’t forget to pour your heart out. Good luck.

I’d look up both of the people and see who comes up with the most USEFUL websites and resourses. I don’t know much about either of them. Otherwise, I would give you an actual answer to your question. :p Sorry.

Well I don’t know much about either of them. But I’d tell you to do some background research on both. Look up contributions they both made towards american culture… Which ever one has more contributions that you think you can expand on better then do that one.
