How much are personal stylists paid?

You know how celebrities pay people to dress them? I was just wondering how much those people are paid. And how much do they get paid if not working for a celebrity. Thanks (:

It all differs from country to country. There are so many variables in this situation like how famous the person is, how often they want you, what you are dressing them for etc. I’m going to say this in New Zealand dollars so you may want to translate it… I have learned that personal stylists get paid about $200-$2000 for dressing somebody for a night out. This is just a random rich person, not a celeb. Celebs on the other hand, pay their personal stylists up to $10,000 a night or a weekly wage of $2-4000 for everyday. Some stylists go out and buy new clothes for the person, while some make-do with what’s in the (huge) wardrobe. Some organize (or even do themselves) the hair and make-up and might get paid more for this.

Also some stylists for celebrities live with the celeb, so all of their accomodation and food is paid for. Everything they make is luxury money and doesn’t have to go towards rent/electricity/food etc
