Permanent Hair Removal

A question for the ladies. What do you think about permanent hair removal in general? For 3 years I had been Brazilian waxed but became sick of it due to the occasional ingrown hairs, redness etc and have now had one laser treatment.

Answer #1

I’d get laser, because it does reduce hair growth drastically a

and here is some interesting information for how.

Laser treatment in most cases isn’t permanent, here is how it works

The laser causes controlled damage to hair follicles, causing them to go into shock temporarily. While in shock, the follicles do not generate hair. About three to six treatments are recommended over three years for the best results.

Hair will eventually return but may not do so for 2-4 months in most people (really lucky people will go for 6-12 months without re-growth).. When hair returns, it is usually thinner and lighter, with (typically) 75% reduction in hair growth.

Some people (very few) do claim to have had permanent hair removal, And laser hair removal doesn’t work on very fine hair.
