Period Two Days Late..I am very worried

I have a medical question, I hope you would help me. My periods generally come on the 18th of every month. Last month (in June) my periods started on 18th and subsided by 22nd. Now, my boyfriend lives in another city. He had come down to my city on the 11th of July (7 days before my expected date of periods for this month). We had sex twice, on the 11th, using the moods comdome. Both the times, he came inside the condome while being inside me. Now, as I told, I was expecting my periods on the 18th, but it’s already 19th and I have not got it. I am really scared. Please let me know, what’s the chances of moods (moods bubblegum flavor) failing. I am really scared. Will appreciate a reply as soon as possible. Also, is it possible for me to be still ovulating just 7 days before my periods. Please Help.

You probably won’t have been ovulating 7days before your period but the egg would have most definately be in your fallopian tube ready to be fertilised. I’ve never heard of moods condoms so you need to check on the packet to make sure it has the CE mark which means it’s certified and is therefore about 98% effective. I had a little quick look on what I think is mood condoms website and I can’t find anything so definately check the packet! If you don’t have any left to look at, go to the place where you got them and check on the box. If it’s not got CE mark then there’s a good chance that it doesn’t actually give any sort of protection and it is quite possible that you are pregnant. If it does have CE mark and it didn’t split (which you should be able to notice) or leak then it’s unlikely that you are pregnant. However, if you are still worried you can take a home pregnancy test 2weeks after conception which are 90% accurate or get a blood test done by your doctor 1week after which are more accurate. Hope this helps x

Okay, I am 16 and I am wondering how old are you. Anyways, maybe your periods are late from eating differentely. Or if your “boyfriend” made a mistake with “using” the condome, you could be pregnant. My main advice is if he used it correctly you should not be pregnant and the late periods could be due to eating differentely or not eating ENOUGH. Try to eat the normal amount of food required, and see if your period comes. If it doesn’t, seriousley, call a doctor, or go to the hospital and you can take a test that will show if your a pregnant or not. Or even better, go to a drug store like Shppers Drug Mart and buy a pregnancy test thing OK. Good Luck!!!
