Period Trauma

I haven’t gotten my period in about six months. Although I have been getting an unusual amount of “Fertile Mucous.” I’m guessing it’s because of all the back up. I am not sexually active by the way. I did loose a sudden 6 pounds, but now I am back to my ideal weight. Should I wait another month, or get my problem checked out?
