Brownish blackish means that the blood has dried. You were looking at an old pad. Even though your friend is cramping badly, it doesn’t mean that she’d just started her period, she could have started earlier in the day or the day before and still be cramping badly.

mmm I don’t know I thought it was unormal too; until my sister had her period like that I asked her why it was like that and she said it was because her period was ending and it wasnt all blood but something else I don’t know though.

That’s strange. Well my friend said she just started yesterday afternoon.. so it can’t be that it’s ending…

When I asked her about it, she said it keeps coming out like that.

maybe she wore it too long, or sounds like it may have dried and darkened. I wouldnt be too worried. :)

Maybe she should go to the doctor if the cramps get worse. She may have an infection or something, unless she has bad cramps like that all the time.
