It’s probably a lot of things. You’re young and it takes periods ages to settle down - mine are still iffy and I’ve put up with them for 7 years. Not eating properly does do that - I went through a difficult time, ended up with anorexia and that made my periods more frequent, then they just stopped altogether, but it’s not very good for you at all. It has lasting effects, so I’d advise eating more even if you don’t feel like it because it’s really important to keep healthy and your periods should level out a little. xx

I think the doctor might be the best way to go. Or try and confide in a friend who could help you as well.

The stress and not eating properly might be the cause. But it could be something serious as I think it’s irregular to have a period every two weeks. But remember, everyone’s period is at different times of the month.

But try and talk to someone about it. I’d talk to the doctor too. Just to be safe than sorry.

Hope this helps you.

Your hormones are a little out of whack. It could be the stress it could be the food thing… (it could be worse, I had mine everyday for 8 months last year). Could be PCOS, which is what I have. They need to check you out to see exactly what it is…

Answer #5

There was a time I got my period twice a month and I thought that was freaky but if you have been getting it every two weeks then you need to talk to your mom and she can take you to go see a doctor! It just depends on whether you are developing faster or how much fluid is in your body!

Answer #6

I’ve never heard of that before. But you should go to a doctor. (They know more than me! lol) but eating less does have that effect. Try eating more. If you’re not hungry eat like a piece of fruit or one of those 100 calorie packs, they’re good!♥

Answer #7

yes not eating good will mess that up and also for the first five years your period might be a little messed up. ( at least thats what they said in health class lol )

Answer #8

I’ve been having irregular period since I started and im now 19!

doctor put me on dianette now but I used to be on microgynon untill I stopped using it for 2 years because I was sick of it - really wasnt helping me overall - I had to keep taking it in order to have a regular period.

my periods were more irregular than you and took different types of irregularity - such as twice in one month, period lasting a few weeks. it was horrible.

I suggest you definately go to your doctor, see if its definately to do with general irregularity or something else :)

Answer #9

Basically you irregular. I asked my nana about this cause my periods are every 2 weeks and I’m always on heavy. If you go to the doctors you should be put on the pill which will make your periods every 4 weeks and not as heavy. Its nothing bad, it might just be a faze cause your body could be changing :)
