Percentage after exam

im getting a 54% in science right now and my exam is worth 30% what will I need to get percentage wise to pass the class?

hehe I do a math degree hence my strange reaction… but seriously its quick to work out…

um how can you be doing science and not be able to do basic math… sorry but thats a just a little shocking to me… its easy.. it works like this… pick a mark you’d like overall lets say ‘m’.. now m= 0.3x + 0.754… so x=(m - 0.7*54)/0.3

ok right now you’ve got 37.8 points.

To get a 60% final grade you need 22.2 points or 74% To get a 65% final grade you need 27.2 points or 90.7% To get a 67.8% final grade you need 30 points or 100%

You cannot get anything higher than that…
