I think people are looking for more questions that are a bit more challenging and of a more general nature in tone.
People do ‘like’ questions, it’s just that most questions aren’t clever or funny, which is what the majority of people will stop to read, laugh and ‘like’. You don’t get points for liked statuses anyway so it doesn’t really matter.
