What do you think about people getting their post codes tattooed on them?

I personally would not do it, but I don’t mind that other people have it. If they want to have it as a symbol of.where they are from and stuff, I guess is fine, their choice not mine.

Where I’m from, nd most of the suburbs around bondi, people are proud of where they come from, so even if you do move, you’ll always have respect nd love for your hometown

Not worser than having your blood type tattooed on your shoulder. I think postcode tattoos are okay, a person might like to carry that fact with them even when their in the grave. Getting it tattooed randomly, I don’t think it’s worth it but if it’s done as a symbol like a symbol of their childhood perhaps if they grew up in that specific area then I think it’s not so bad. So even if their miles apart from that suburb, they still have that tattoo to remind them of what was so special about that place that they got the post code tattooed. There was a dude in ZOO magazine once who had his postcode tattooed right on the side of his head in big numbers. Now that’s just ugly. If it were on the wrist, upper arm, chest then that’s reasonable. But yeah, post code tattoos aren’t too bad.

I wouldn’t do it, but I do see why others may. I don’t have any strong thoughts against it. All tattoos have meanings that are meaningful to those who have them, and that’s ok.

Me nd a few mates were talking about getting 2026 tattooed on our backs. I have so much love nd respect for bondi, i wouldn’t regret it. If you come to Sydney, every suburb has a group of guys, with their post code tattooed on them, kinda funny :D

doesnt bother me to be honest but i wouldnt have my post code done…
