What do you think about people planning a trip to a casino to raise money for a church?

Don’t do it. Churches have enough money. Religion as a whole is just an elaborate, manipulative money making scheme. At the top, the very top, there is only greed. Please, justify why the pope needs all that gold, and flowing robes and flawless care for waving at a window. Why does he have all of that when individual parishes are asking for donations? He could sell all of that and fund all the churches at once. Feed starving children. But he won’t ‘cause that would make sense. That would be the moral thing to do. I’d say just go to Vegas and have a good time.

i would look down upon it. churches get tons of money, and that money goes straight to the people who are in charge of the church, they seldom do anything useful with the money. plus gambling with other peoples money sounds pretty rediculous, as does people gambling there own money for the church

I just think it’s such a good idea because what if you don’t win? Then you made no money at all and you lost money, and that monye you lost could have gone to the church. And I don’t think that will be a very “religious” way to raise money for it, which I am just saying because I know nothing about the religion and the things they believe in. I think it will be a better idea to try something else that you can get something good out of, and if not I’m sure the church will pull trough.
