Do people in the medical field run out of jobs?

and make allot of money?

Answer #1

Yes yes they do

Answer #2

I don’t think they do, there are always going to be demands for jobs as doctors, nurses, etc, if you’re an excellent doctor you can make a lot of money, around $300’000 depending on what kind of doctor you are, medicine is probably one of those fields that will never have a shortage of jobs

Answer #5

No, the medical feild is never going to run out of jobs, even till the end of the earth’s days. Everyone will always pay to seek medical care and everyone needs it! That would be the first thing on everyones list. I know there is a demand for 90,000 nurses. So if there is one thing that you pay for college for that your will be guarenteed a job in the medical feild, cause they are always needing more.

Answer #6

There is a shortage of medical professionals now and for the immediate future. Aging baby boomers who need more and more medical attention will drive demand even higher until most of us die off.

Answer #7

Being a doctor is not as lucrative as it used to be. Remember that college and medical school is more expensive than it has ever been so many doctors start their practice with over $100,000 in debt from student loans. Managed care limits how much doctors can charge for their services so it is hard to get the big paychecks. It is true that top doctors in the most difficult specialties can make more but in many of these fields risk is high so malpractice insurance takes a big chunk of their earnings. I know doctors who are millionaires but they all are near retirement and made most of their money decades ago. You can still make a good living as a doctor but it isn’t as lucrative as it was in the past.
