Why do people enjoy watching fights (school fights, street fights & professional fights)?

So that they get to see violence. They want to now who the strongest is, who not to piss off.

It would depend on the person. It’s a form of entertainment like any other. Some people enjoy watching others get their faces pounded in, while others would rather go stare at deer in a park or something. It probably appeals to some people because of the excitement and adrenaline of it all.

people seem to enjoy violence and i dont really understand it either. Like for example on monday after school these 5 dudes planned to jumped 1 dude outside of his house and they went ahead and brought a camera man to shoot the video footage. By the next day the fight was ALL over facebook! i dont really know why people like fights i think people think if you fight other people then you are cool! but i would never date a boy that wanted to fight someone over stupid stuff!? Like people need to grow up and realize that violence is not the answer to your problems (:

I like to watch a good fight just for the rush, i dont know, this is gunna sound stupid and weird but just the whole atmosphere of violence gets my adreneeline pumping. but just to ote i am not a violent person, only when needed.

Because it is only natural like from the late roman period when people watched people fight each other to the death or a primal state of being the Alfa male in a pack or group

its enttainment/sport, and some people get a rush from it. i like watching UFC(ultimate fighting championship) its thrilling :P

Its intresting. Especialy if you know the people bc you just get curious who did what to the other… and who won… and how much trouble they get in… how the fight is ended… I dont know why exactly people would take a video and put it on the internet, thats dumb. but i do understand talking a video/picture and just showing friends… those are my thoughts about it
