Why are people disgusted by fat people?

becuase most of them tend to be filthy and sweat a lot therfore they smell really bad …but i never seen anyone get disgusted by a super clean fat person i guess it’s the fact that they are dull and aren’t postive ..

You’re wrong and that’s way beyond mean, most fat people aren’t filthy or dull and aren’t positive. I’m not fat and I sweat a lot, it all depends on the person not their body weight. I agree with TwiddleMuffin, it’s about people judging by first appearances and people are naturally skeptical.

I think its because they dont really care how they look like they dont really bother to try to look nice but i could be wrong.

I’m fat and I have to say I am a person that finds fat people disgusting, yes I find myself disgusting. I don’t judge people on their apperance but I think being fat having rolls ect is extremely unattractive because its unhealthy. I also find it unattractive because a lot of fat people aren’t proportioned correctly. But like twiddle muffin said its because people judge others, have stereotypes of fat people and are brainwashed by tv that if your not thin your ugly.

you are wrong? some people can’t help being fat, the have slow metabolisms, have to take medicine that makes them gain weight or have the eating disorder that makes them consume large amounts of food, it’s definitely not that they don’t care about how they look or they don’t bother to look nice. that’s only in some cases, not all…

im fat too but i was wondering cuz people would always look at my friend who is bigger than me and u can just tell they thought u were disgusting,..

I don’t think fat people are disgusting. I have friends who are fat. And people I know don’t also think fat people are disgusting although there are some who look down on them the same thing as they look down on people who have sloppy appearances. So I guess it’s about showing or not showing how well you maintain your body appearance which people find disgusting or not. So being fat = Stuffing loads of unhealthy stuffs into the body = Unhealthy

Us big people do get picked on a bit. No one up here does because us big people sit on them and make them go scoosh :P nah we don’t. Some females, like myself, went on the depo shot and ended up with the extra weight.
