Why do people ask if they're pretty?

People now have so low esteem because the think they need to look like these role models that the media is giving them!

It is old.. but also very sad!

people wouldnt be saying that unless there where people telling them that they where =/ and it lowers their self confidence they just need to here the truth =/

Yeah…

The thing is, we can whinge and whine about how much “am I pretty?” posts get on our wicks, but it’s not really going to stop people posting them. Especially when people keep giving “am I pretty” posters the type of answers that they want. I usually ignore these posts, but there have been a few times when I’ve thought to answer these “What do you think of me?” posts with “I think you’re vain!”

But that’d be a bit mean, so I usually find it better for all if I zip it.

They only want to be complement on.

If you really didn’t think you were pretty, you wouldnt ask anyone because you would think they would say no, so you wouldn’t even ask.

& people who put a picture online& then under it put im ugly, or im gross, or somthing. JUST WANT TO BE COMPLEMENT ON.

because really, if you think about it, if you Thought that picture was gross, why would you put it on the internet?

People need to use common since.
